Jeep Wrangler: Red Warning Lights / Oil Pressure Warning Light
This warning light will
illuminate, and
a chime will sound, to indicate low
engine oil pressure. If the light and
chime turn on while driving, safely
stop the vehicle and turn off the engine as soon
as possible. After the vehicle is safely stopped,
restart the engine and monitor the Oil Pressure
Warning Light. If the Oil Pressure Warning Light
is still illuminated, turn the engine OFF and
contact an authorized dealer for further
assistance. Do not operate the vehicle until the
cause is corrected. If the lamp is no longer
illuminated, the engine can be operated but it is
recommended to take the vehicle to an
authorized dealer as soon as possible.
Do not operate the vehicle until the cause is
corrected. This light does not indicate how
much oil is in the engine. The engine oil level
must be checked under the hood.
This indicator will illuminate
when the
hood is ajar/open and not fully
closed.
NOTE:
If the vehicle is moving, there will also be a
single chime...
This warning light will
illuminate to
indicate the engine oil temperature is
high. If the light turns on while driving,
stop the vehicle and shut off the
engine as soon as possible...
Other information:
FCA US LLC recommends towing with all wheels
OFF the ground. Acceptable methods are to tow
the vehicle on a flatbed or with one end of the
vehicle raised and the opposite end on a towing
dolly.
If flatbed equipment is not available and the
transfer case is operable, the vehicle may be
towed (in the forward direction, with ALL wheels
on the ground), IF the transfer case is in
NEUTRAL (N) and the transmission is in PARK
(P) (for automatic transmissions) or in gear NOT
in NEUTRAL, for manual transmissions)...
If you pass another vehicle slowly with a relative
speed less than 15 mph (24 km/h) and the
vehicle remains in the blind spot for
approximately 1.5 seconds, the warning light
will be illuminated. If the difference in speed
between the two vehicles is greater than 15 mph (24 km/h), the warning light
will not
illuminate...
