Jeep Wrangler: Automatic Transmission — If Equipped / Selection Of Lubricant
It is important to use the proper transmission
fluid to ensure optimum transmission
performance and life. Use only the
manufacturer specified transmission fluid. It is important to maintain the
transmission fluid at the correct level using the
recommended fluid.
NOTE:
No chemical flushes should be used in any
transmission; only the approved lubricant
should be used.
CAUTION!
Using a transmission fluid other than the
manufacturer recommended fluid may cause
deterioration in transmission shift quality
and/or torque converter shudder.
Under normal operating conditions, the fluid
installed at the factory will provide satisfactory
lubrication for the life of the vehicle.
Routine fluid and filter changes are not
required...
Other information:
Remove the rear window and quarter panel
windows.
From the Sunrider® position,
remove straps if previously secured and
move to the rear of the vehicle.
Locate the Sunrider® latch beneath the #6
Bow of the soft top on the left side.
Step Three
Pull the latch to release the top, and allow
the soft top to slide rearward freely in the
guide tracks to the stowed position...
If the low oil pressure warning light turns on
while driving, stop the vehicle and shut down
the engine as soon as possible. A chime will
sound when the light turns on.
NOTE:
Do not operate the vehicle until the cause is
corrected. This light does not show how much
oil is in the engine...
Categories
To erase the channels, follow this procedure:
Place the ignition switch into the ON/RUN
position.
Push and hold the two outside HomeLink®
buttons (I and III) for up to 20 seconds, or
until the HomeLink® indicator light flashes.
NOTE:
Erasing all channels should only be performed
when programming HomeLink® for the first
time. Do not erase channels when programming
additional buttons.
