be seriously injured or killed.
- A loose head restraint thrown forward in a
collision or hard stop could cause serious
injury or death to occupants of the vehicle.
Always securely stow removed head
restraints in a location outside the occupant
compartment.
- ALL the head restraints MUST be reinstalled
in the vehicle to properly protect the
occupants. Follow the reinstallation instructions
above prior to operating the vehicle or
occupying a seat.
The rear seat is equipped with non-adjustable,
but foldable head restraints.
To fold the outboard head restraint, pull on the

Other information:
Turn Signals
Move the multifunction lever up or down to
activate the turn signals. The arrows on each
side of the instrument cluster flash to show
proper operation.
NOTE:
If either light remains on and does not flash, or
there is a very fast flash rate, check for a defective
outside light bulb...
Snow
In heavy snow or for additional control and
traction at slower speeds, shift the transmission
into a low gear and the transfer case into 4WD
Low if necessary. Do not shift to a lower gear
than necessary to maintain headway.
Over-revving the engine can spin the wheels
and traction will be lost...
